Vampire Knight Chapter 40 (Spoilers Ahead!)

Things heat up in the new Vampire Knight chapter *wink wink*

So to sum it up:

-Zero doesn’t die

-Ichiru had a reason for shooting Zero, which ends up being because he wants Zero to kill him and drink his blood so they can become one (a whole twin thing)

-Zero and ichiru flashbacks

-Zero does bite him and evidently kills him

-Kaname looks particularly evil

-Zero is now a very strong vampire

I was so glad that the subs finally came. In general it was a very good chapter, I’m surprised that in the end Ichiru isn’t a total ass like he’s been in the rest of the series. There seemed to be a very strong vibe of a ZeroxIchiru in the making, which is a pretty funny thought… Yuki looks pretty good as a vampire, but Kaname’s hair looked just Hot! I think I have like a hair fetish or something because I always seem so drawn to a guy with sexy hair? Anywho, the ending was definitely the most interesting part where you had Zero with his nails running across the cement making an indent. Basically the only question left is; who hasn’t Zero bitten now? Now he’s pumped full with about 3 pure-bloods and his other half, quite a combination. It seems will soon have a showdown between Zero and Kaname and with all this power that Zero has the playing field is definitely pretty even. Though, as much as I want Zero and Yuki to end up together, I don’t know if I want them both to be vampires. Yuki was a better match for him before she became Kaname’s sister and lover. Another thing they haven’t really mentioned about in a while is Shiki’s story. The last time it seemed Senri was fighting back after what Rima said, so I’m curious to what will happen next with that as well. Now we basically have to wait a complete other month for a new episode…I don’t want to wait!
